This is the NovaShield you'll get from early access. Everything below is planned for launch and early access: most of it is built and in testing today, and the rest must be finished and tested before early access opens. Every new install gets all of it free for 30 days.
Runs as a Windows service, so every account is covered from start-up - not only the person who installed it.
If a newly downloaded program is flagged, NovaShield locks it so it can't run until you choose to allow or remove it. Signed programs are never held. Known malware goes to a vault, and you can undo that.
Checks files against millions of known-malware signatures, delivered in signed updates.
Reads the shape of a Windows program to spot new malware that no signature list has seen yet. When it's sure, it moves the threat to the vault; when it's not, it flags it for your review. Signed programs are never touched, and one click undoes anything.
Injected code, hidden PowerShell commands, suspicious chains of programs, and programs that quietly add themselves to start-up.
Blocks connections to known malicious sites and servers, using signed, daily-updated lists.
